For a DDP shipment, any application duties and taxes are paid by Global Trade Pal on your behalf during the custom clearance process. Estimated duties and taxes are added to your order total during the order checkout process. The option to select DDP mode is available in the shipping page for ready to ship or express custom products during checkout . For custom orders, you can share your shipment preference with our team during the quote creation process.
We have tie-ups with several leading logistics companies, including FedEx, DHL, POTA, all cargo, and several more. they inturn may have partnerships with local service prociders across different countries.
Yes absolutely, We can do this for no additional cost, and we highly recommend it because you would save on freight costs. We course request certain undertaking from the supplier and prefer to inspect the goods in such scenarios.
For a DDU shipment, we don't add the estimated duties and taxes to your order total. You will have to pay any applicable duties and taxes to the freight/logistics partner during customs clearance or delivery as applicable. For any order placed on our platform, we provide quality inspection services. For custom orders, it involves inspection of the products during as well as post-production. we do this at the seller factory/facilit. we also check the products against the order details to ensure that the products delivered match the order specification. Along with this, we inspect and test the box post packaging. In the current Covid situation, in some cases we may need to do remote inspections or green channel the inspection through very reliable vendors"
We have dedicated teams that track production monitoring and quality control. We do this for each order starting from confirmation to finalization. We do this through production β both inline and final if required β so that we can preempt and rectify any discrepancies during the production process. If we anticipate delays, we step in, to caution and support the sellers if needed. We also do a final QC once the goods are packed and reach our warehouse before shipping. Buyers can also opt for remote inspections to be extra sure and to avoid any surprises.

We have partnered with major labs in india to conduct the required quality testing of products. if you want to avail this service please write to us with your requirements so we can share the testing protocols and costs. we also share a final quote once the testing requirement has been finalized. Once ready, our supplier ship the product to the nominated testing lab. As soon as the reports are available, we will share same with you.
The production or manufacturing process of many of our items usually involve a fixed cost this could be dyeing of yarn, mold, packaging materials, dyes, blocks, and others. we apply this fixed cost across the total quantity of the product. As a result, the base price of the product varies depending on the quantities that your order .
Further, if the price mentioned for a product is inclusive of the freight charge then for a given quantity that too will influence these prices. We show different prices for different quantities so that you can have a fair undrstandind of the cost as per your order requirement

Both Air and Ocean freight costs vary by weight/ volume and destination. It is important to note that since shipping cost is not fixed by weight or volume, hence costs do not increase or decrease linearly.
Once a custom order is confirmed, we provide the service of tracking key milestones through the production process of your order. The tracking process starts from the pre-production phase and continues until the goods are packed. we keep in touch with the supplier throughout the process and keep you update on the status of your order. Each product type / production method has a different monitoring process. This is to ensure that all the key activities are tracked and you get your shipments on time - as confirmed to you at the time of placing the order .
We identify and shortlist sellers based on credible and legitimate associations. These include Export Promotion Councils, Business Trade Associations, World Fair Trade Organization, Craftmark, Crafts Council and others. We then verify all our sellers against our six core values i.e artisanal, eco friendly, organic, fair & social, recycled, substained. Once shortlisted we reach out to the sellers to review their certifications and legal compliance documentation. we also undertake physical audits of their factory or facility as best possible before onboarding a supplier. If factory audits are not done, we undertake reference checks and review customer or client feedback where possible.
